Add Rooms to your Sites and view them in your Calendar
Many practices have numerous rooms within their one site and would like to see this when booking in appointments. coreplus allows an infinite number of rooms to be allocated to a site allowing both the receptionist and practitioner to see exactly were the appointment is. This makes managing appointments a much simpler task.
Adding Rooms to a Site
Once sites have been defined, an infinite number of rooms can be specified to each location.
To add a room:
- From your Dashboard, click on 'Sites'
- Click the name of the site and click 'Rooms'
- Click on 'Add Room'
- Enter the name of the room
- Optionally specify a color for the room
Repeat the process to add another room.
Press 'Save' when you are finished.
When creating or editing an appointment, you will now be able to associate an appointment with a room. For more information on how this is done click here.
Working with Room Views from the calendar
The coreplus calendar can be in the standard view or the Room view. You are able to toggle between either view by clicking 'User View' or 'Room View' in the top right hand corner of the calendar.
Once you have clicked 'Room View' the left of the calendar should change from displaying the practitioners name to displaying the room names. You will now be able to see appointments by room in contrast to appointments by practitioner.
